Sharing our dream
On March 26 many of the Hall members shared our three year work plan we call "Our Dream".
We talked about the five most important areas important to people with disabilities. We shared how we were connected as individuals, as a group and in the community. We talked about how our plan came from focused conversations, collaborations and ten years of working on social justice.
D - Disability Pride and Culture
R - Relationships and Networking
E - Enough money to live
A - A 'home' for all
M- My services I need
If you would like more information about our dream or a presentation on how we can make our dream possible. Please call us at 403.717.7630 or email us. Click on this link to see our photos of the presentation.

Raising Awareness
Members of the Disability Action Hall worked together to help raise funds for the Self-Advocacy Summit in October 2009.
Our goal is to get enough funds to send Hall members to meet new people, connect, share ideas and spread the word people with disabilites are proud!
We had a great day at the Chesney's Home Hardware Store at the Grand Opening! Good times were had by all!
Thanks to Homeware store owner Clark, all the great employees and friends of Chesneys and to CSPD's Mickey for connecting us up for some great hot dogs!
