 Hello Calgary Candidates and friends! 

By now you may have received an invite from us to attend a conversation about what makes a great City. If you are curious about the disability lens, we encourage you to visit our vision! We took the time to link what was important to us to the Citizens Priorities as well as current City Strategic Plans & Services. We hope you find it useful and please let us know if you might like to join us on Thursday, August 19th, 2021, and tentatively another date in the near future.

An invite to all Calgary Candidates

Members of the Disability Action Hall would wish to extend an invitation to all City Candidates to join us for a conversation on Thursday, August 19th from 6 pm to 8 pm online on zoom.

We ask candidates to please remember to speak in plain language and address the question on these four topic areas:  

"What steps will you take to close the gap when creating a city to include all Calgarians?" 

• Welcoming and Healthy Neighbourhoods
• A strong barrier-free City
• Leadership: and working with the community
• Working with the province
