Come and check out our rock garden entry at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Harvest Fair, Wednesday, October 1st from 3 to 7 pm
The 'Poverty Rocks Garden' will be on display at the Hillhurst Sunnyside Harvest Fair Wednesday, October 1st The 'food for thought design' is inspired by the United Nations ‘International Day to Eradicate Poverty on Friday, October 17th.
Harvest goers will be encouraged to hunt for clues in the rock
garden in order to win eventbrite tickets leading up to the “We Act – Powered by Pechakucha”; A lunchtime event at the Glenbow Museum where among the fabulous speakers, some of the folks are also from the Disability
Action Hall will share one action we can do about poverty in Calgary in a matter of 6 minutes and 40 seconds! Whew!
