Support Disability Action Hall: Empowering Change for Albertans with Disabilities

For 25 years, the Disability Action Hall has been a vital force for change, fueled by the power of lived experience. But with 27% of Albertans living with a disability, the fight for equitable access is far from over.

Too many Albertans are still denied critical services, struggling in a system that wasn’t designed for us. The time to act is now. We're urgently launching a fundraising campaign to raise $115,000 to supercharge self-advocacy efforts across Alberta.

Where Does Your Donation Go?

Your support will directly fund impactful initiatives:

  • $25 – Fuels one crucial hour of advocacy, ensuring that lived experience directly shapes policy.
  • $50 – Powers an hour of peer-to-peer support meetups, building community and resilience.
  • $100 – Invests in collaborative partnerships, amplifying our efforts and maximizing reach across the province.

Your Gift Can Have an Immediate Impact:

If you're considering an extra gift, February 28 marks a unique opportunity. The Government of Canada has extended the 2024 charitable giving deadline, giving us all one final chance to contribute and receive tax benefits for the 2024 tax year.

Why Your Donation Matters:

Lives are impacted daily. By investing in self-advocacy, you're investing in change. You're investing in a more equitable future for all Albertans.

Don't wait. We cannot afford to stand by. Help us make this critical moment count.

Invest in Change. Invest in a More Equitable Future.
