Next steps, is it time for Calgary to take on basic income?

Members of the Disability Action Hall attended the "Enough for All" report to community at the standing policy committee of Calgary City Council on Wednesday, July 5 2017 to be one of the many people asking our City Councillors its time to think about Basic Income as a solution.

Among the many members who spoke to the impacts from 2016. For 2017, Brian Dodd from Engineers Without Boarders, Holly Robinson, and Disability Action Hall and Poverty Talks member Brad Robertson shared why the City needs to begin conversations with both levels of government about basic income.

also includes services, supports and medical needs.
